Loved it!
Having lost my hard copy of Sapphire in the Snow, I was so pleased to find this on ! Carol Townend really tells a good story. The characters are well-drawn, the plot races along and the historical detail whisks me back through the centuries. Best of all, there's a nice twist at the end .... but I'm not telling what it is!

I enjoy a good medieval story and this was a very interesting offering. I will read this author again soon.
While mildly interesting and predictable characters nevertheless it was a good read. I enjoyed the rustic descriptions and story line. If you like a nice romantic fiction that is not graphic in depiction which I favor then for that reason alone it's a good story.
This is the first of this author's books I've read. I liked it very much. It wasn't too steamy. The lady wasn't too flighty. And the good guy was sensible and still desireable. The story was in keeping with England's history. The story line was exciting, rich in suspense and never a dull moment .
I loved reading this book and have re-read this book and the ending is worth it. I have read "Novice Bride" by this author and loved it also. I recommmend this book to everyone!
